This my first go at underwater photography. Just a simple photo of butterflyfish feeding at an anchor line. The photo was taken at Curtin Artificial Reef in Moreton Bay, Qld (on the Melbourne). I used a $75.00 Shark Diver brand camera using Kodacolor VR Plus 200 flim. Photocomp March '05 - Novice

These photos are that of my wife (Julie) who wanted me to do these photos during her 8th month of pregancy. I hope our baby loves the water as much as we do. Taken at Fairy Bower, Sydney using a Nikonos V. Lens and exposure : Sea&Sea 15mm, f5.6 at 1/125. Film : Ilford SFX. Photocomp March '05 - Open

I took this photo on the western side of North Solitary Island , NSW 27th March 2005. This guy was feeling sad because he was not interesting enough for anyone to take photos of him. So to get some attention he dressed himself up with a bit of soft coral. I used a Nikon Coolpix 3200 with a Fantasea CP-3N housing. I took one frame to get this shot. Photocomp March '05 - Novice

This was only the third underwater photo I ever taken! I snapped this little guy at Anemone Bay, North Solitary Island, NSW. I used a Nikon Coolpix 3200 Camera with a Fantasea CP-3N housing. I had waited some time for the anemone fish to rise into position and stay there long enough for me to get the shot. I probably took around five frames to get this shot. Photocomp March '05 - Novice
