Taken with Canon PowerShot A80 at The Gravel Loader, Shellharbour. I really love taking macro shots of sea urchins, at first glance they appear to be simple black spiky things littering the ocean floor. Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me. It seems ironic that such an incredible display of colour and structure be hidden from so many. Photocomp August '04 - Open

Taken with Canon PowerShot A80 on August 22nd at Bare Island, Sydney. I've never seen so many different nudis in such a small area. They were out in full force this day. This was the first I've seen of this species. Photocomp August '04 - Open

Taken with Canon Powershot S40 at Shiprock, Sydney on 8th August 2004. The little Reaper Cuttlefish took off just as I pushed the shutter. Note the crab just sticking out of an indiscernible shell under the left Cuttlefish. Photocomp August '04 - Open

This little Pink Anemonefish was defending its sea anemone with such ferocity for a little fish. Image taken August 2004 at a lovely dive site called Noritake Gardens, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, WA. I used an Olympus C750 in an Olympus housing with inbuilt flash. Photocomp August '04 - Open
