Nudibranch

Taken with Canon PowerShot A80 at The Gravel Loader, Shellharbour. I really love taking macro shots of sea urchins, at first glance they appear to be simple black spiky things littering the ocean floor. Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me. It seems ironic that such an incredible display of colour and structure be hidden from so many. Photocomp August '04 - Open

Obscure Hypselodoris

Standing Guard

This little Pink Anemonefish was defending its sea anemone with such ferocity for a little fish. Image taken August 2004 at a lovely dive site called Noritake Gardens, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, WA. I used an Olympus C750 in an Olympus housing with inbuilt flash. Photocomp August '04 - Open
