Cairns Dive Centre

The M.V. Kangaroo Explorer is a modern 25 metre catamaran specifically designed for Queensland coastal cruising. Each of our 16 cabins (twin, double and 4-berth) is fully air-conditioned, carpeted, has its own en-suite facilities and port hole or window. On the main deck there is a spacious saloon served by a top class galley and a well stocked bar. The top deck offers an enclosed air-conditioned sun lounge as well as an open and shaded sundeck. There is a library situated in the sun lounge for your convenience. The Kangaroo Explorer is equipped with a spacious dive deck, providing easy access to and from the water.

Cairns Dive Centre can now offer you the best snorkelling and diving on a day trip to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. The new day boat vessel is MV Reef-Kist. It is licenced to carry 75, however we will be limiting our day trip numbers to a maximum of 40 for additional comfort and a fast 90 minute transfer to the Outer Barrier Reef. For extra comfort Cairns Dive Centre limits the combined diving and snorkelling passenger numbers to a maximum of 40 for our day trip to the Outer Great Barrier Reef.

Cairns Dive Centre also offers learn to dive Open Water courses in our 5 star training centre.

We can provide day trips to Fitzroy Island, Visit our second dive centre, located on the island for snorkel, diving, sea kayak or stand up paddle board hire or a glass bottom boat tour.
