Yep, it is worthwhile traveling from Australia to Yap in Micronesia – or from anywhere else for that matter. Yap is a unique paradise in Micronesia - lush, tropical and with abundant life above and below the water. ...

If looks could kill, the whale shark would be the most deadly creature in the sea. Up to 14 metres in length, weighing as much as 20 tonnes, and sporting hundreds of teeth, it is outclassed in size only by the true whales.
For about the last 3 years I have been diving a site 5 nautical miles off the east coast of NSW at Laurieton. At the beginning my friend and I travelled out here (with an accompanying boat) in a 4m rubber duck. Why go out so far? ...
